      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

This was so amazing! Thank you so much for sharing! It went on the cookadoo list. The flavours were so delicious.
And very simple to do. Did a nice full pot too. I have to confess I did pan saute the onion, bacon and added a chopped carrot. I still find the thermomix, even the newest and best can't saute like a pan. Used chicken bone stock and added a pinch of curry powder.
    Wacko! The best!!

My family loves this dish! Awesome. I leave out the potatoes sometimes just to give it a different texture.

  • I add 1 celery stick, green

I add 1 celery stick, green onion instead of brown onion, 1 garlic glove and already cooked chicken. The potatoes which I chopped into little cubes where still hard after 10 minutes. Would recommend 15 min cooking time instead of 10 min when adding the potatoes. All in all the soup had a nice taste. Will make again.
