  • These were so easy to whip up

    Submitted by Kat68 on 11. July 2016 - 00:26.

These were so easy to whip up for nibbles to take to a friend's. Next time I would add garlic and perhaps a bit more curry paste as they were a tiny bit bland for me. I steamed them in the Varoma using both the bottom and top tray but ended up quickly frying them at the end as they needed some colour. Perfect consistency so they held their shape - I really hate it when meatballs fall apart!

These were absolutely beautiful!  I added some pumpkin and capsicum to mine also (just 1 cup of each) and they were delicious!  I also used tomato paste instead of the curry paste!  They were obviously a hit, becaue every single one of them was eaten!!  Thank you tmrc_emoticons.)

  • Just made this & didn't use

    Submitted by TLKeys on 18. April 2015 - 14:45.

Just made this & didn't use the curry paste and found them suitable for the entire family. Sweet chilli sauce was used for extra flavour. Thank you for sharing.

  • I've made these a couple of

    Submitted by shelly_w on 16. September 2013 - 14:18.

I've made these a couple of times now - yum!

Both times I used curry powder instead of paste, just tipped 'some' in. First time, I steamed them in the varoma - they turned out just lovely!

Second time, I did two batches, one using chicken mince, the second batch pork mince and hubby cooked them on the bbq - worked very well. Will certainly be a favourite meal in this house on a regular basis!

    Submitted by chrisbabe1971 on 14. May 2012 - 13:12.

These were great! So yummy. I made them the healthier way without flower and steamed them in the Varoma. They were really juicy. Had some left over that didnt fit in the Varoma, so I put them on a tray in the oven, and they turned out really nice too.

No need for all that extra fat tmrc_emoticons.)
