If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 200C
  2. Place cubed pumpkin into a separate bowl, coat with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Spread in a single layer on a baking tray and bake for 20 minutes.
  3. Closed lidPlace frozen spinach in Thermomix bowl. Cook for 6min/100C/sp2. Transfer cooked spinach into sifter and use a spatula to push the spinach against the side to remove as much liquid as possible. Set aside.
  4. In Thermomix bowl, place onion and garlic. Chop 3sec/sp5. Cook for 5min/Varoma/sp1 with the MC off.
  5. Add pumpkin, spinach, feta and thyme. Combine 8sec/sp4.
  6. Cut each pastry sheet into squares (depending on how big you would like the triangles) then place a small amount of mixture in the centre, brush edges with milk, fold over to make a triangle and seal. Be sure not to over fill. For example, if I'm making appetizer size triangles, I cut 16 squares out of one piece of pastry, then use 1/2 teaspoon of mixture per square.
  7. Closed lidTransfer to a tray lined with baking paper. Brush with milk and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  8. Gentle stir settingClosed lidBake for 20 min until puffed and golden.
