Recipe is created for
TM 5Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
- Preheat oven to 200C
- Place cubed pumpkin into a separate bowl, coat with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Spread in a single layer on a baking tray and bake for 20 minutes.
- Place frozen spinach in Thermomix bowl. Cook for 6min/100C/sp2. Transfer cooked spinach into sifter and use a spatula to push the spinach against the side to remove as much liquid as possible. Set aside.
- In Thermomix bowl, place onion and garlic. Chop 3sec/sp5. Cook for 5min/Varoma/sp1 with the MC off.
- Cut each pastry sheet into squares (depending on how big you would like the triangles) then place a small amount of mixture in the centre, brush edges with milk, fold over to make a triangle and seal. Be sure not to over fill. For example, if I'm making appetizer size triangles, I cut 16 squares out of one piece of pastry, then use 1/2 teaspoon of mixture per square.
- Transfer to a tray lined with baking paper. Brush with milk and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Bake for 20 min until puffed and golden.
Accessories you need
To freeze, wait until the triangles have completely cooled and place in ziplock freezer bags or airtight containers.
