I feel like I am bucking the trend here but these were not a hit here tmrc_emoticons.( The muffins were flavourless and needed a good amount of sauce for the adults and the kids are currently eating 2 min noodles lol. I wonder if you were to cook the rice with some flavour if that would help? Great idea htough and I loved trying something new tmrc_emoticons.)

  • I had left over cooked rice

    Submitted by Soupymix on 18. January 2015 - 12:09.

I had left over cooked rice (used 500g) and no chicken on hand.  Substituted a tin of tuna for the Chicken and added 1 1/2 TBSp Curry powder and 50g Salad dressing.   Very tastey and filling.  Would serve wiht dollop of sour cream next time possibly.

    This was so yummy.

    Thank you.

And next time I'm going to skip putting them in the oven if I run out of time because the mixture was so nice to eat on its own or as a pie or pastry filling.

These are great! I especially like them cold, they'd make great finger food for summer entertaining.
