Oh my goodness!!!! This has come in as being one of my favourite soups! This is delicious!
I didn’t have any sesame oil so I just didn’t add it and I cooked up some diced chicken to add instead of roast chicken!
so yum and my whole family loved it and devoured it! Thank you. My husband complained when I told him what we were having for tea, said it would be crap (he doesn’t like corn) but he was very impressed and went back for seconds and thirds 😂

    Submitted by toni5623 on 6. June 2017 - 18:19.

    Lovely consistency to this soup.
I used home made chicken broth and poached my own chicken stock but found it still needed quite a bit of seasoning added at the end (even before adding the traditional soy sauce!).
Next time I think I'll add some freshly grated ginger.
Thank you for sharing this easy recipe.

Submitted by Kreative Kappy on 7. June 2016 - 17:37.

A new fav here tmrc_emoticons.) We went out for a Chinese dinner about 2 weeks with friends after I had made this for the first time. After the first spoonful my hubby said to the table that "this was nothing compares to my wife's sweet corn soup". Thank you for making me look so good and our tummies so deliciously filled.

Exactly like I remember getting from the local Chinese restaurant!

Isteamed the chicken in the Varoma for 30mins before and minced it for 5 secs at speed 5.

  • Fantastic.  I added a tblsp

    Submitted by Kezza3212000 on 19. July 2014 - 18:14.

    Fantastic.

I added a tblsp of mushroom stock as well as the chicken stock, used a brown onion instead of spring, just cooked for five mins instead of scraping the bowl down, used two raw breasts (2cm cubed) and cooked for twenty mins.

My daughter didn't like corn and is about to go back for seconds.

Thank you so much for sharing, this will be a regular in our home.
