Loved this slice thank you for the recipe 👏 the only changes I made based on the other comments are:
1. Doubled the topping recipe and reduced the sugar - will probably reduce a little more next time
2. sprinkled top of slice with desiccated coconut in the last 10 minutes of cooking
3. used a lamington tin instead of a square tin
4. found the cooking times given pretty accurate - but kept an eye on each stage so it wasn't overcooked
Will definitely be adding this Recipe to my favourites - especially when our lime tree is plentiful 👏🙏
Was lovely but glad I checked on it 10 mins long enough in my oven at 170. Thank you
Sooo Easy. I wasnt watching and did mine a bit long which was 30min but lots of flavour!!
Hi

im still learning as I go
but I have a question. What size baking tin did you use for the bars.
ive noticed in quite a few recipes they dont mention the size of trays.
thanks

Thanks for the feedback on the cooking time…I think your oven must be running on the hot side if it was set to 150 and that was too long…try a little lower on the temp rather than quicker…please let me know how it goes.
Enjoy!
Hi Tenina, Thanks for this recipe. I made it today and it was delicious; even my fussy 2 and 4 year old little ones loved it, and it's always hard to get them to try a new strong flavour like lime. I tried it on 150 Fan forced and 25 mins was too long in my oven. I will definitely try it again to get it perfect. Yumm!!!
