Ingredients

Beef Stroganoff

  • 4 Zuchinis, spiral sliced
  • 1 brown onion, halved
  • 500 g chicken thighs, strips
  • 150 gram mushrooms, sliced
  • 30 g ghee or butter
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne, more if you like it spicy
  • 50 gram water
  • 20 gram apple cider vinegar
  • 50 gram tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable stock concentrate
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 200 gram sour cream

Recipe's preparation

  1. Method

     

    Make zoodles with with spiral machine

    Place zoodles in Varoma and any other green veg you may like

    Place onion in bowl and chop speed 7 3 secs

    Add ghee or butter, paprika, cayenne, saute 3mins, Varoma, speed 1

    Add chicken, place varoma on top, cook 10 mins, 100 degrees, rev, speed 1

    Add remaining ingredients, place varoma back on top, cook 10mins, 100 degrees, rev, speed 1

    Serve over zoodles.

    I made this tonight and I'm really sorry to say my family didn't enjoy it at all. I left out the water as per previous comments but it was still really watery. I also cooked the zucchini separately so the liquid didn't come from them.. I felt the taste was also quite bland. Sorry not our cup of tea.

    Yummy favour! I added 1 tbsp cornflour, as a couple of reviews had it was a bit runny.  it was perfect!  thank you for sharing!

    Very nice flavours.  I didn't have  4 zucchini so used a mixture of carrot and zucchini sliced using our peeler, worked great.
