Ingredients

Gow Gee Wrappers

  • 285 g plain flour
  • 190 g Boiling water

Filling

  • 500 g minced pork
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 spring onions
  • 2 cm piece of ginger
  • 10 g soy sauce
  • 10 g white vinegar
  • 5 g dry sherry/port/Chinese cooking wine
  • 20 g Red Capsicum or Bamboo shoots

Recipe's preparation

    Wrappers
  1. Add the flour to the TM, with the blades running on speed 3, add the water to make a dough.

    Knead for 30 secs.

    Roll out as thin as you can and use a cookie cutter to make circles.

  2. Filling
  3. Mince the garlic and ginger - speed 8 for 3 secs.

    Add the other ingredients and mix to combine - speed 5 for 5 secs.

  4. To Assemble
  5. Put 1 teaspoon of the mixture onto each round - use somewater as a glue and fold over into a semi circle.  These can be pan fried or steamed in the TM.

Tip

- Use a pasta maker to roll out the wrappers

- Delicious steamed or pan fried

- Serve with a sauce of half soy sauce to half white vinegar

    I made these to use up left over roast pork and some leftover mince I had. I mixed the two together with the other ingredients and made a double batch or the gow gee Wrappers. We deep fried them and they were so so so yummy! Thank you!
