  • 200 g chicken breast or thigh, cut in 2cm cubes
  • 1 carrot, sliced
  • 150 g sweet potato, cut in 2cm cubes
  • 1 zucchini, roughly chopped
  • 3 broccoli florets
  • fresh herbs (eg. parsley, rosemary - optional), just a bit to taste

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place onion and garlic in TM bowl. Process for 3 sec/speed 7

  2. Add olive oil and saute for 3 min/120 degrees/speed 1

  3. Add chicken and cook for 2 min/120 degrees/speed 1

  4. Add vegetables, herbs and water and cook for 20 min/varoma/speed 1

  5. Puree accordingly to your baby's age. For my 9 months old, I pureed for 15sec/speed 7

Tip

You can use whatever vegetables you have in the fridge. Aim for about 400g of vegetables. Depending on the vegetables used, increase or decrease the water amount.
