Meatloaf

  • 1 Slice of bread, Torn into pieces
  • 90 grams cheese, Cubed
  • 2 onions, Peeled and halved
  • 1 Large Granny Smith Apple, Cored and cut into 1/4s
  • 1 handful, Fresh parsley
  • 1-2 teaspoons curry powder
  • 1 egg, Lightly beaten
  • 1kg mince, sausage mince, beef, chicken, pork...you choose. My favourite is sausage mince
  • salt & pepper, To taste

Recipe's preparation

    Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 180C

    Add all ingredients except egg and mince to Closed lid.

    Blitz sp 4-5, for 20 seconds or until combined.

    Tip into a good size bowl.

    Add remaining ingredients.

    Using clean hands combine mixture.

    Shape into oblong loaf shape.

    Bake for 1-1.5 hours.

    Serve with roast veggies and steamed beans or Thermie mash and steamed veggies.

Tip

This recipe has been in my family for so long I can"t remember where it came from..!

It is equally delicious served cold with a salad or on sandwiches with chutney.

    This was a little plain for me  - I may have messed something up as i know how lovely Monica's recipes are. Imy version def needed somethign extra added for flavour - I have just covered it with a chilli suace and wacked it in the microwave and it has added a little extra to it tmrc_emoticons.)
