      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat Oven to 180 Degrees
  2. Place 300gm of Self Raising Flour in Mixing bowl
  3. Add 60gm Cubed chilled butter
  4. Add Pinch Salt
  5. Add 175 gm Dates or Raisins (Optional)
  6. Mix 10 seconds speed 6
  7. Add 200gm Buttermilk or 150gm Milk
  8. Dough mode for 1 minute
  9. Cut into preferred shape and bake 180degrees for 10-20 mins (keeping an eye on them)
