  • 50 g carrot, cut into pieces

      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

    Vegetable Slice
  1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease and line a square baking dish (20 cm) with baking paper and set aside.

    Place cheese into mixing bowl and grate 3 sec/speed 7. Transfer into a bowl and set aside.

    Place zucchini, capsicum and carrot (can use other vegetables) into mixing bowl and grate 2 sec/speed 5. Transfer into bowl with grated cheese and set aside.

    Add spelt flour, eggs and reserved zucchini and cheese, then combine 20 sec/reverse/speed 2.

    Transfer mixture into prepared baking dish. Bake for 20-22 minutes (180°C) or until set and lightly golden. Set aside to cool completely, then cut

Tip

Can use different vegetables with the zucchini. I use up whatever i have left in the fridge.
