Delicious. I made a half portion for breakfast this week. The leek has been grated so will try the last step on reverse.

    So easy and tasty.

I did not have leek I just used normal onion.

I saute the onion for 1min on varoma setting.

I also added sliced mushroom layer on top before putting in oven.

    Yum yum yum

    Thank you for sharing

Thanks for the recipe inspo. I wanted to make an LCHF/Banting/Ketogenic version of these so subbed in almond meal/coconut flour for the self raising flour. I also added 'bacon dust' I'd already made in the thermie on a previous occasion, added cream for milk and swapped around the veggies to have more lower carb types. It was delish! It was a hit at our Easter celebration.

This zucchini slice will be a firm favourite. Thanks Penny.
I had no leek, but followed the recipe otherwise. It made 24 muffins plus a 20 cm square tin.
I baked the muffins for 18-20 min at 180 fan forced, and the square tin for a bit longer.

We love this recipe! We made it without the bacon, and it's still delicious. Definitely a do-again, and company breakfast.

Great, easy recipe! And perfect for lunch boxes. We opted to do 2 lots of 12 muffins instead of the pie. And they took about 30 minutes in our oven on 180. Perfecto!
