Tip

I have never used the Maple syrup as I think these are sweet enough. If your mixture is too moist you can add some Rolled oats (I am Paleo/ grain free) so havent tried this.

Yumm!!! These are delicious! And sweet enough without the maple syrup. I skipped the cocoa as I'm trying to avoid chocolate and they were still great! Next time I won't melt the coconut oil first, as this makes them quite soft and maybe add a tiny bit more vanilla to make up for the missed cocoa, but not necessary. I think I would prefer just addong chia seeds rather than rolling? Will see. And I might try swapping out a few of the dates for ricealt syrup to cut down on fructose. But these were great just the way they are, will definitely make again!! Thanks!
