Best Ever Choc Chip Bikkies

  • 250 g unsalted butter, Softened
  • 170 g caster sugar
  • 150 g brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 460 g plain flour
  • 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
  • 100 g milk chocolate chips
  • 100 g White Chocolate Chips

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Method
  1. Pre heat oven to 170°C (no fan).
  2. Add softened butter and sugars to mixing bowl.
    Mix 20 sec Spd 4
  3. Add eggs and vanilla.
    Mix 5 sec Spd 4
  4. Add flour and bi-carb.
    Mix 20 sec Spd 4.
    Scrape down sides of mixing bowl.
    Mix 6 sec Spd 4.
  5. Add choc chips to mixing bowl.
    Mix on reverse Counter-clockwise operation 15 sec Spd 4.
    Repeat if necessary.
  6. Place heaped teaspoon amounts on lined baking tray. 12 per tray to allow room for spreading.
  7. Bake in preheated oven 8-10 mins.
  8. Transfer to cooling racks immediately and allow to cool.
  9. Try not to eat them all at once!
