Cacao and coconut bliss balls

      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid.       If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

    Mixing ingredients
  1. 1. Add all ingredients into mixing bowl. Weigh in 100 grams of rolled oats, 2 table spoons of cacao powder, 6 pitted dates, 100 grams of sultanas, 2 table spoons of honey and 2 table spoons of dessicated coconut
    2. Place lid and mixing cup on, Mix all the ingredients together 12 seconds speed 6
  2. Making the Bliss Balls
  3. 1. Mixture will look rather grainy and soft to touch
    2. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of dessicated coconut on a plate
    3. Dampen your hand with a touch of water then start making small bliss balls about 3 cm wide, rolling the ingredients in the palm of your hand, then rolls them lightly on the plate with the dessicated coconut
    4. Continue to make bliss balls until all mixure is used up, will make upto 12-14 depending on the size
    5. Store in air tight container in the fridge for up to an hour or until set before eating.
    6. Bliss balls will keep for upto 2 weeks in the fridge
