BASE

  • 5x53 g Mars Bar's chopped
  • 100 g Butter
  • 1 Tblsp Golden Syrup
  • 5 Cups Rice Bubbles

CARAMEL

  • 50 g water
  • 120 g Full cream powdered milk
  • 100 g Butter
  • 80 g brown sugar
  • 50 g golden syrup

CHOCOLATE TOPPING

  • 200-250 g Cadbury Milk Chocolate BLOCK not melts
  • 1 Tblsp falvourless Oil

      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

    BASE
  1. Cut Mars Bar's into 3 pieces each and place in Closed lid with butter and golden syrup. CHOP 5s/Sp5 - scrape sides MELT 3m/60C/Sp3
    When mix is melted, add rice bubbles MIX 20s/Counter-clockwise operationsp2. Give a stir by hand if necessary.
    PRESS half of mix into lined slice tray, pop into fridge and pour remaining mix into separate bowl and set aside.....proceed to make caramelClosed lid
  2. CARAMEL
  3. ADD all ingredients into Closed lid, COOK 8m/90C/sp4 with MC
    SPREAD over BASE.
    SPREAD remaining base mix(topping) evenly over the caramel
    Press down gently and refidgerate
  4. CHOCOLATE TOPPING
  5. Clean and Dry Closed lid
    Grate Chocolate 6s/sp8
    Scrape sides, add oil MELT 2m/60C/sp3
    SPREAD over Slice
    RETURN to Fridge.
    CUT when set.

    Very tasty, very rich, probably as I used the caramel and dark choc bits in the base as I didn't have any Mars bars lol
