Ingredients
Thick Chocolate Chip Cookies
- 115 g Salted butter, room temperature
- 150 g brown sugar
- 50 g white sugar
- 2 portions eggs, large
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 315 g self-raising flour
- 1 tbsp bicarb soda
- 1 level tsp baking powder
- 200 g chocolate chip

- Line a large baking sheet with baking paper and set it aside.
In mixing bowl add the butter and sugars. SP 5 30 Seconds.
Scrap down side with spatula.
Add in the large eggs and vanilla extract. Continue to mix until combined. SP 5 30 Seconds
Add in the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Mix until dough is just coming together. The dough might seem to be still crumbly at this point.
SP 7, 1 Minute.
Reverse Stir in the chocolate chips gently. SP 4 30
Divide the dough into 12 portions.
Place the formed dough on the baking sheet, then place the sheet in the refrigerator to chill for 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 180C while cookies are in refrigerator.
Bake the cookies 15 minutes for large cookies and 10 minutes for small cookies. Remove the cookies from the oven and allow to cool on the pan for at least 10 minutes. Cookies will continue to set in the center as they cool.

For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
