Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation
Pre-heat oven 180 degrees.
1. Add choped carrots into
and grate 15 seconds, speed 9, MC on
2. Scape down sides of mixing bowl.
3. Add into
eggs, oil and sugar and mix 1 minute, speed 6, MC on
4. Add the flour into
and mix 20 seconds speed 3. MC on
5. Pour into prepared cake tin and bake for approx. 20-30 minutes. Insert a skewer to test if cake is ready. When it comes out clean its cooked through.
**Once the cake has cooked and is out of the oven cooling down then move onto making the chocolate drizzle.
1. Add all ingredients into
and cook 8 minutes, speed 1, VAROMA temp MC on.
2. Pour into a smaller bowl to allow it to cool for a few minutes, and then pour over cake.

Tip
If you allow the cake to cool down it'll allow the chocolate to drizzle over nicely.
The more you allow your chocolate drizzle to cool down the nicer itll stick to the cake and not run all the way down onto the plate. If it thickens up in the bowl mix it by hand by a tea spoon to gain a smooth consistency again and then drizzle over.
