Cinnamon Buns

Ingredients

Dough

  • 180 grams Milk
  • 2 tsp Yeast
  • 20 grams caster sugar
  • 450 grams plain flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 --- eggs
  • 50 grams Butter
  • 1 tbsp raw sugar

Cinnamon Butter

  • 100 grams Butter
  • 3 tbsp caster sugar
  • 3 tsp cinnamon

Recipe's preparation

    Dough
  1. Heat Milk to 100 degrees.

    Add yeast and caster sugar. Mix 3 secs sp4. Allow to sit to for ten minutes until frothy.

    Put all other ingriedients (except raw sugar) into bowl. Mix 6seconds, sp6. Knead 5 min. 

    Allow to rise for 1 hour.

    Flatten into rectangle shape, spread cinnamon butter over it. roll and slice. place upwards in a 22cm springform pan. Allow to rise again for a further 40 min. Top with raw sugar and sprinkle of cinnamon. Bake 35-40 min at 160 degrees.

  3. Mix all ingriedients  30 sec sp4.

Tip

Gloss with egg wash before baking for an extra glossy look.
