Cinnamon carrot cake with frosting
- 175 g sugar, muscovado
- 175 g sunflower oil
- 3 piece eggs
- 140 g carrots
- 175 g flour, self-raising
- 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
- 1 - 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg, or other spice to taste
Frosting
- 200 g cream cheese
- to taste lemon juice
- icing sugar

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
- Preheat oven to 160c - fan oven
- Chop carrots into chunks and grate on speed 5
- Add all the ingredients except raisins. Mix speed 5 for 2 min.
- Add raisins on "Counter-clockwise operation"
- Bake in round spring form tin for 40 min
- Mix all ingredients on speed 3, add icing sugar until the mixture becomes spreadable
