  • 200 g sugar
  • 10 g ground cinnamon
  • 2 eggs
  • 210 buttermilk

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
    Line a loaf tin with baking paper.
    Place all dry ingredients and butter into tmx bowl.
    Blitz on speed 8 until fine crumbs form. About 15-20 seconds.
    Add milk and eggs.
    Blitz on speed 4 for 30 seconds until well combined.
    Pour into prepared tin.
    Cook for 35-45 minutes until firm to touch.
    Cool on wire rack.
    Serve into slices as is or with a little butter or jam.
    Serve warm or cold.

    Thanks for the recipe. I put only put half the cinnamon in and put vanilla in for the other half and i also added some fruit mix. Very tasty.

    Great quick, easy recipe, that uses up the buttermilk from making butter, and not all the butter. We just made ours into cupcakes, and the kids loved them. Thanks for sharing.

    Really enjoyed this. I dont know if I was supposed to mill the sugar first as I could see the grains in the finished loaf. It was still thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.
