  • 2tbsp water
  • 1/2 tsp bicarb soda

      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven 160c
    Place Butter, Water & Golden Syrup in bowl - 100deg -1min - speed 2.

    Add Bi Carb - 30sec - speed 2.

    Add 4 remaining ingredients - 30sec - reverse - sp 2 (scrape down sides and repeat for 10sec if necessary).
    Scoop or roll into 24 balls & flatten with fork.

    Cook on 160c for 15-20min (until golden brown.

    Leave on tray to cool or they will fall apart.

Tip

If you would prefer chewy biscuits only cook for about 12min, depending on oven.
