- 250-315 g sugar, to taste
- 250 g Butter, roughly chopped
- 170 g plain flour
- 1/8 teaspoon baking powder
- 60 g good dark cocoa
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Maltesers, frozen raspberries, soft centres raspberry choc pieces, rollos, Mars Bars, Crunchie etc chopped to small pieces

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
Line slice tin with baking paper or use muffin tines if preferred.
Heat oven to 180deg C fan forced
Step 1.
Weight sugar into TM bowl - 5 seconds - speed 9
Add butter
Cook 2 minutes 70deg Speed 1
Step 2.
Weigh flour and cocoa into bowl, add baking powder, vanilla extract and 4 eggs
Mix 5 seconds, speed 4-5
Scrape down side of bowl and stir with spatula
Step 3.
Spread into slice tin and insert pieces of whatever chocolate centre you want to add.
Smooth over top to cover with spatula.
Step 4.
Cook in oven for 22-25 minutes for slice. 20-22 minutes for muffins.
Cool in tin. Cut into slices and can be dusted with icing sugar if preferred.

Tip
In hot weather, keep sliced pieces in refrigerator. Take out a few minutes before serving.
