  • 130 g sugar
  • 50 g brown sugar
  • 110 g Nuttelex
  • 3 ripe bananas, quartered
  • 2 teaspoons Orgran No-Egg
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 240 g Self rising flour
  • pinch salt
  • 2 tbsp rice milk
  • 1/2 tsp Bi Carb Soda

Recipe's preparation

  1. Best made in a ring pan. Grease and line or spray a ring pan with rice bran oil. 


    Pre-heat oven to 180 deg fan forced.


    Mill sugars for 10 secs, sp 9.


    Add Nuttelex, No-Egg, water and bananas, mix for 15 secs, sp 5.


    Add flour, salt, rice milk and bi-carb soda, mix for 15 secs, sp 5. (Scrape down sides after 10 secs if needed.)


    Pour into cake pan.  Bake for 25-30 mins. (Longer if bananas are large.) Test cake with skewer to see if it is done.)


    Turn out onto wire rack to cool.


    Ice with if desired, using Nuttelex in place of butter or margarine.
