If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
1. Place sugar in thermomix bowl, 15sec / speed 8
2. Add cubbed butter, 2mins / temp 50 / speed 3
3. Add vanilla essence, salt, cocoa, apple sauce and milk. Mix 2 mins speed 5. Scrape down sides Towards the end.
4. pour into a large mixing bowl with flour. Combine well.
5. Bake at 180 degrees, 30/40mins until skwer comen's out clean
cool completely before icing

i used a large slab tin to create a themed birthday cake. Halve recipe for normal sized cake tin.
