Fool Proof Coconut Scones

  • 360 grams Self Raising Flour
  • 180 grams cream
  • 180 grams lemonade or diet lemonade
  • 80 grams desiccated coconut (optional)

Recipe's preparation

    Fool Proof Coconut Scones
  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees cel 

    Add the ingredients and bring together 5 seconds / speed 5

    Set to closed lid position and knead for 25 seconds / Interval speed

    The dough should be a firm but moist.

    Tip the dough onto your lightly floured Thermomat.

    Flour your hands and pat mixture into a  3cm thick rectangle.  

     

    Use floured spatula and score dough into small squares (Makes 24).

     

    Separate out squares using floured spatula and pat into round 3cm thick shapes

     

    Place them onto a baking paper lined tray, just touching each other

     

    Brush lighlty with milk to help them turn brown.

     

    Bake for 10 mins or until golden brown.

     

    Turn out into a tea towel to keep warm until ready to serve.

     

     

    Serve cut in half with butter, jam, and/or whipped cream

Tip

You can brush the scones with a little milk as a glaze before placing in the oven. 

 

Enjoy with home made TM jam and cream.
