      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 160C, grease and line a 20cm square slice tin.

    2. Weigh almonds, mill 20 sec / Spd 9.

    3. Add remaining ingredients (except nuts/berries). Mix 10sec /Spd4. Scrape down, mix 5 sec / Spd 4.

    4. Pour 1/2 the mixture into lined tin. Sprinkle nuts and/or frozen berries ontop. Carefully pour the remaining batter over the top.

    5. Bake in preheated oven for about 25mins (until edges begin to pull away from the sides of the tin.

    6. Let brownies cool slightly (5 mins) before slicing.
