Recipe's preparation

  1. Describe the preparation steps of your recipe

     

    -Slightly butter and flour the 22 cm pie cake tin.

    -Cut the cheese to 12 pieces of 8mm thickness, 4cm length, set aside

    -Turn on the oven to 180ºC ( if fan force oven you could leave at 170ºC )

    -Mill the sugar in the Thermomix for 5 second speed 9, scrap down and set aside.

    -Separate the eggs

    -Put the egg white in the Thermomix bowl with the butterfly, mix for 2 minutes, 37ºC speed 3, add the sugar and mix for 1 and 1/2 minutes, 37ºC, speed 3. Remove the butterfly.

    -Add egg yolk, lemon juice then mix 4 second speed 3

    -Add flour mix 4 second speed 2

    -Add butter mix 4 second speed 2

    -Pour 1/2 the batter in the cake tin, arrange 6 cheese sticks as shown in the photo

    -Pour the rest of the batter on top, spread it evenly (try not to touch or move the cheese underneath) then arrange the rest of cheese sticks on the top

    -Put in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.

    -Leave it to cool down for 10 minutes, then arrange the cake on a plate

    -Enjoy the cake when it is still warm

Tip:

-The best way is to eat when it is still warm as the cheese is melting in your mouth.

-If it is a left over, wrap it and reheat in the microwave.
