Cinnamon Crumbs

  • 100 grams soft butter
  • 75 grams sugar
  • 175 grams plain flour
  • 1 level tablespoon cinnamon

  • 150 grams Quark
  • 6 level tbsp oil, I used vegetable oil
  • 6 level tbsp Milk
  • 75 grams sugar
  • 1 level teaspoon Vanilla bean powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 300 grams plain flour

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Topping and crumbs
  1. Wash plum and cut in half, take put out and slice the halfs in 5ish slices so you can lay them out on the dough later.

    Put all the ingredients for the cinnamon crumbs in Closed lid and mix 20 seconds / speed 4 until you have nice crumbs. Transfer in bowl and set aside.
  2. Dough
  3. Put the Quark, oil, milk, sugar, vanilla bean powder and salt in Closed lid. Mix 20 seconds / speed 4. Add flour and baking powder and Dough mode 3 minutes until you have a smooth dough.

    In the meantime grease a baking tray and preheat oven 160 degrees.

    Roll dough on the prepared tray, place plums with the skin down fan-like on the dough and the crumbs on top.

    Bake for 25-30 minutes and serve with whipped cream.
