If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Slice
  1.

Cream butter and sugar with the butterfly whisk on speed 4 for 20 seconds. Remove whisk.

Add golden syrup and vanilla and mix on speed 4 for 20 seconds.

Add remaining ingredients and mix on speed 2 for 30 seconds. Scrape down the bowl and repeat if necessary until combined.

Press into a greased tin and bake at 150 degrees for 25 minutes. The longer you bake the crunchier the slice the shorter the softer the slice will be.

Allow to cool in tin and ice with chocolate icing while warm/cool.

    Slice and serve.
