  • 10 grams chia seeds

    Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

    Making the mix
  1. 1. Place cored and quartered apple into the mixing bowl. Chop speed 5, 10 seconds. Scrape down and repeat if necessary to ensure even consistency.

    2. Add bananas and mix speed 4, 10 seconds.

    3. Add remaining ingredients and mix speed 4, 10 seconds.

    4. Let ingredients sit for 5 minutes to allow the banana to absorb into the oats. 

    5. Turn oven on to 180 degrees.

    6. Place mix into a baking paper lined slice tin and bake for 20-30 minutes or until slightly browned on top.

    7. Allow to cool and then slice into bars or pieces. Store in airtight container or wrap individually.

    I have just made this, but didnt have any oast so used GF SRF. So im hoping it still works tmrc_emoticons.) I love that it's healthy and can be used for lunchboxes tmrc_emoticons.)
