      Recipe is created for
      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

How to make your bliss balls
  1. 1. Place 40g Almonds in TM jug.

Process on speed 9 for 8 seconds. Set aside.

    2. Place 200g Dates, 100g Dried Apricots and 50g Shredded Coconut into TM.

Process on speed 7 for 20 seconds.

    3. Add in 1tblspn Chia Seeds, the ground Almonds you set aside, 40g Dark Chocolate Chips (If you decide to use pieces of choc, blitz between step 1 and 2 for 4-6 seconds on speed 5 and set aside, adding in now), 15g Cocoa, 1 tblspn Coconut Oil and 1 tblspn Almond Butter.

Blitz for 15 seconds on speed 3 until combined.

Mix should be able to be pressed in your hand into a ball - if its too dry, add a little more Coconut oil or Almond butter and blitz for 5 seconds speed 3.

    4. Scrape sides and remove from TM using the spatula. Roll into balls using a rough dessert spoon size scoop.

    5. Refrigerate until you can't resist any longer. Store in the fridge.

I would eat these within 7 days, it really wont be a problem!

Tip

Make sure to use the measuring cup inserted into your lid - otherwise it will be messy!

My 4 year old helped with these and both him and my 18mth old enjoyed one as a treat!

Hope you like them - this is my first recipe!
