      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

    Preparation
  1. 1. Preheat Oven to 170C - Fan Forced
    2. Place the 150g sugar in the TMX bowl Closed lid and Pulse (Turbo) 3 times.
    3. Add all other ingredients and mix 30 seconds Speed 4. The dough should be soft and smooth, but not sticky.
    4. Turn out onto the bench, form into a ball and let rest for a couple of minutes.
    5. Roll portions out to about 8mm thick, cut into and form into small "donut" rings, pinching the ends together.
    6. Toss the rings into the extra granulated sugar and place on baking sheets lined with baking parchment
    7. Bake for about 20 25 minutes - they should be golden and crunchy.

Tip

This is basically an English translation of an Italian recipe found on the Italian "Bimby Community".

They can be made using red wine as well.

Fantastic with coffee. Crunchy, not too sweet and really delicious.
