Jam tartlets

Ingredients

Dough

  • 340 grams plain flour
  • 100 grams icing sugar
  • 125 grams Butter, cold, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • dash vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon Milk
  • 1/2 cup jam of your choice

Recipe's preparation

    Method
  1. 1. Add all ingredients (except the jam) to your Closed lid.

    2. Blend sp5/20 seconds.

    3. Knead Dough mode, 2 minutes.

    4. Wrap in clingwrap and place in the fridge to chill for 1/2 an hour.

    5. Preheat the oven to 180C and grease about 24 patty/muffin pans.

    6. Roll out on a lightly floured surface to about 4mm thickness and cut into circles to fit the tin size.

    7. Place each piece into the greased tins and prick lightly with a fork.

    8. Spoon about 1 tspn of jam into each pastry circle.

    9. Bake until golden brown and jam has started bubbling, about 15-20 minutes.

    10. Gently easy out of pans (careful..the jam is boiling hot..!) and cool on wire racks.

Tip

This is a realy versatile tart recipe.
