Ingredients

batter

  • 125 g Butter
  • 70 g brown sugar
  • 60 g caster sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 egg
  • 180 g plain flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 30 g cocoa powder
  • 110 g chocolate chips

Recipe's preparation

  1. Pre-heat the oven at 160 degrees

  2. Cream butter and both sugars for 30 seconds on speed 5

  3. Whisk in vanilla essence and the egg for 5 seconds on speed 5

  4. Stir in the flour, baking powder and cocoa powder for 20 seconds on speed 4

  5. Fold in the choc chips, 10 seconds Counter-clockwise operation speed Gentle stir setting

  6. Place spoonfuls on a greased baking tray (or baking paper)

  7. Bake 10 to 15 minutes

  8. Cool on a wire rack
