LCHF Brownies with pecans
- 65 g Salted butter, chopped
- 50 g cold pressed, coconut oil
- 120 g Powdered Stevia
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp Vanilla Bean Paste
- 10 g unsweetened cocoa powder
- 65 g almond meal
- 40 g pecans, chopped
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Baking Powder, gluten free

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
- Preheat oven to 180C/160C fan forced. Line square cake tin.
Place butter, coconut oil and stevia into bowl and cream 5 sec/speed 5. - Add eggs and vanilla and mix 5 sec/speed 5.
- Add in cocoa powder and baking powder and mix 7 sec/speed 5 until dark in colour.
- Place almond meal into bowl and mix 10 sec/speed 5 until a light creamy colour.
- Lastly, add the pecans and mix 5 sec/"Counter-clockwise operation" /speed 4.
- Pour mixture into lined, square cake tin and cook in the oven for 20 - 25 mins. Allow to cool before turning out of tin and cut into desired slices.

Tip
Place a few extra pecans on top for a decorative effect.
You can also use macadamias or walnuts in place of the pecans.
