Lucy's Apple Crumble - Thermojunkie
- 160 grams Self Raising Flour, (or GF flour if preferred)
- 55 grams brown sugar
- 30 grams Dessicated or shredded coconut
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 60 grams Butter cut into cubes, (or Coconut Oil for Dairy Free)
- 500 grams granny smith apples
- 3 tablespoons water
- 2 tablespoons White or raw sugar
- Custard or Ice Cream to serve

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
Put Flour, Sugar, Coconut, Cinnamon and Butter into bowl.
Speed 5 for 5 seconds.
Set aside in medium bowl.
Without washing bowl, put apples cored and quartered (peeled if you really love your kids or partner)
Speed 5 for 5 seconds
Put apples into greased oven dish, and sprinkle with 2 tbsp of sugar and top with 3 tbsp water - this will give an extra bit of moisture.
Top with crumble mixture.
Put into moderate oven for 30 mins or until golden on top.
Serve with Custard or Icecream.
