Lynn's Chocolate Cake

      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven 180°c.

  2. Combine milk and vinegar using a whisk in a seperate bowl. set aside for the 10 min.

  3. Grease and line 2x 20cm round cake tins.

  4. Add butter to tmx bowl and melt for 2 min, 80°c, speed 4

  5. Add remaining ingredients and mix for 30 sec, speed 4. Scrape down sides of the bowl and repeat.

  6. Devide the mixture between the 2 tins and bake for 35 min or until skure comes out clean when inserted into the centre.
