  • 200 grams plain flour
  • 100 grams rice flour, mill your own
  • 200 grams Butter, at room temperature cut into cubes
  • 1 level teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 level tablespoon Maple syrup

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 160 deg.

  2. Put all ingredients into TM bowl. Mix for 10 sec speed 6 to combine.

  3. Set to Closed lidand mix for 20 seconds onDough mode

  4. Turn out onto thermomat and knead together. Divide into four and press out to approx 1/2 cm thick.

  5. Using cutters press out your shapes and place onto baking paper lined tray. Use fork to prick some holes in each shape

  6. Bake in oven for 15 mins. Remove from oven and sprinkle with some extra castor sugar.

  7. Leave on tray 10 mins before transferring to a cooling rack.

    This was a lovely recipe thank you for sharing. I wondered if there was meant to be any other sweetener in ingredients and I found even with the tablespoon of syrup it wasnt really sweet and I tend to reduce sugar volumes in all recipes?
