Dough

  • 80 g Butter
  • 125 g Milk
  • 3 teaspoon dry yeast
  • 75 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 500 g flour, all purpose
  • ~50 g Milk, Extra milk is added to ensure dough kneads properly and to avoid a dry dough (should be sticky, but NOT wet).

Egg Wash

    Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

    Baking
  1. Describe the preparation steps of your recipe

  2. Bake at 150°C for 30 minutes.

    Add Egg Wash towards the end of the bake.

  3. Egg Wash
  4. Beat egg until fluffy and brush onto braided dough. 

    Sprinkle coarse sugar over egg wash.

    Continue to bake until top is golden brown.
