Must Try Clone of Moist Banana Cake

  • 3 ripe bananas, Peeled
  • 150 g sugar
  • 150 g Butter, room temperature
  • 2 eggs
  • 240 g Self Raising Flour
  • 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
  • 50 g buttermilk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Paste

Recipe's preparation

    Preheat fan forced oven to 160c
  1. Add bananas and vanilla paste in the TM Bowl for 5 seconds on speed 4 and Set mixture aside

    Add butter and sugar in TM Bowl for 20 seconds on
    Speed 5

    Add the eggs one at a time and mix well in between each egg for 10 seconds on Speed 5

    Add the banana mixture and mix for 3 seconds on speed 5

    Add the flour, bicarbonate of soda and buttermilk and mix for
    20 seconds on speed 4

    Pour into a greased 20cm cake tin and bake in the oven for 1 hour
    3. If undercooked- Drop oven temperature to 140c and bake for 10-15 minutes

    This is absolutely delicious!! I put it in a 30cm round pan and cooked it for 45 minutes (personal preference). Worked a treat
