Nan's Kiss Biscuits

  • 225 g Flour, Plain
  • 115 g sugar
  • 1 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 tablespoons cornflour
  • 115 g Butter
  • 1 --- egg
  • 1 dash vanilla bean

Recipe's preparation

    Biscuits
  1. Insert butterfuly whisk.
  2. Insert the butterfly whisk. Add the butter (room tempreture) and sugar to the Thermomix bowlClosed lid and mix No counter-clockwise operation for 1min/speed 3.
  3. Scrape down the dowl and repeat 2-3 times until the mixture is pale and creamy.
  4. Remove butterfly whisk. Add egg and mix 5 seconds/speed 3.
  5. Add flour and mix 14 seconds/speed 4.
  6. Scrape down bowl. Knead 45 seconds Dough mode
  7. Roll out dough to 2-3 mm onto baking mat or flour dusted bench. Cut with cookie cutters.
  8. Bake for 10-15 minutes. Untill lightly golden on edges.
  9. Allow to cool and decorate with icing.
