Nutty Chocolate Brownies

  • 200 g dark chocolate
  • 100 g macadamia oil
  • 250 g brown sugar
  • 200 g Coconut Flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 75 g raw organic cocoa powder
  • 100 g Chopped nuts of choice, eg brazilian, macadamia, pecan
  • 4 eggs

Recipe's preparation

    Nutty Chocolate Brownies
  1. 1.pre-heat oven on 180degrees

    2.place chocolate and macadamia oil into the TM bowl. mix 2mins / 50degrees/speed 1 or until chocolate is melted

    3.add sugar, eggs, coconut flour, baking powder and cocoa and mix  20secs/speed 5

    4.add nuts and mix for 20sec/Counter-clockwise operation/speed 3

    5.place in low baking tray and bake for 15-20mins

    6.Once baked, let cool and then cut into pieces.

    Nice and moist brownie but only add half the coconut flour otherwise it is way too thick.

    Used 200g sugar (instead of the 250g as called for in the recipe) plus an extra egg as it was so incredibly thick my blades were struggling to turn... Despite my modifications it's fantastic - served warm with double cream. This recipe is amazing - thanks so much!!
