Loved these. Modified the recipe a bit and only put in 100 grams of sugar and no honey and they were still sweet enough. Had to cook about double the time and the biscuits did not really spread so did that half way through cooking myself. In saying that they have been a hit and I will definitely make them again. Next time I'd probably cut the sugar down a bit more again and replace with honey to make a bit more moist. Thank you!

  • Like some others I used spelt

    Submitted by Lucyloo76 on 10. August 2015 - 14:58.

Like some others I used spelt flour, and I think the honey could probably be reduced or left out but 12 minutes and they hardened once out of the oven. Amazing!

Made with spelt flour and only 100 grams coconut sugar and they were great. Could probably have even done with less sugar. Ate most of them while the chocolate was still gooey. Heaven! Mine didn't really spread that much though, would probably flatten down a bit more before baking next time.

Tasty cookies. I used rapadura sugar (90g), rice malt syrup (40g) and spelt flour (same as recipe), and used 100g choc chips + 50g sultanas. Required a bit more cooking time (I made them bigger as well) but they turned out well!

Even then, I found these a little sweet; going to try less sugar next time.
