Ingredients

8 slice(s)

Old fashioned Vanilla tea cake

  • 125 g Butter, Chopped
  • 150 g SR flour
  • 200 g caster sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 40 g custard powder
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch salt
  • 30 g melted butter, optional
  • 3 tsp cinnamon & sugar mixture, optional

Recipe's preparation

    How to:
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease/line a medium loaf tin.

    1. Add all ingredients to the Closed lidand beat sp4/2mins or until well combined.

    2. Spread into the tin and bake 45-50 mins or until cooked when tested.

    3. Cool in the tin for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

    4. Brush with optional melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
