Tip

This is a recipe I used to make in traditional method when children were at school - great for school lunches and freeze well.

This recipe converts to gluten free with 280g of Gluten Free flour although I find they go stale quickly so need to freeze same day.

Fab recipe thanks! The only change I made was I used an orange without the rind because I had used it in another recipe. I was impressed that they still turned out with plenty of orange flavour despite taking the rind off. Lovely texture, light and fluffy.

  • Flour is plain unless

    Submitted by ThermoDelight on 21. December 2014 - 18:05.

Flour is plain unless otherwise stated.

You will also note baking powder is added so if you don't have baking powder you could use SR flour instead of the flour and baking powder.
