An easy recipe to make that looks impressive and tastes great - thanks. Like Messy Jessy, I found the base to be quite thick so will try with half the mix next time.
    Thanks for the recipe.

I used in total 4 tablespoons of custard powder and about 8 little oranges to get to 350g of juice.

  • A good recipe.  I found that

    A good recipe.

I found that it should have be blind baked as the base rose 3/4 high in baking tray.

  • This is a really tasty

This is a really tasty slice!

Good recipe, which I recommend and will be using again. There are just a couple of changes I will be making next time I bake this - I only used half the base mixture once I made it as I prefer a thinner base. The (thinnner) base is holding together nicely and now having tasted the slice I will definitley only make half the base mixture next time.

Also - the juice of 4 oranges plus one lemon only came to 190grams (not 350gm as above recipe), however this was plenty with which to make the slice. I ended up using a total of 4 Tablespoons of custard powder, but probably could have gotten away with three!

    Thanks for the recipe Tarado!
