Pecan biscuits

  • 100 g pecans
  • 125 g Butter, cubed
  • 30 g caster sugar
  • 150 g plain flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • icing sugar, to dust

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 150deg fan forced.

     

    Line a tray with baking paper.

     

    Add pecans to TM bowl. Mix 3 secs / speed 8. Put aside and wipe out bowl.

     

    Place butter, sugar and vanilla in TM bowl. Mix 15 secs / speed 8 or until creamy.

     

    Add pecans and flour. Mix 30 secs / speed 4 or until combined. You may need to mix the last little bit with your spatula.

     

    Roll into small balls (about a teaspoon full) and place on tray, about 3 cm apart.

     

    Bake for approximately 20 - 25 minutes or until pale golden.

     

    Remove from oven and dust heavily with icing sugar while still hot.

     

    When cool, store in airtight container.
