- 220 grams plain flour
- 50 grams icing sugar
- 150 grams Butter, Cut into cubes
- 10 grams lemon juice
- 10 grams cold water
- 200 grams Whole Pecan Nuts
- 100 grams Butter
- 90 grams golden syrup
- 100 grams brown sugar
- 90 grams Self Raising Flour
- 3 eggs

TM 5Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
- Add flour and icing sugar to Bowl.
Add cubed butter and mix 12 seconds speed 4.
Add lemon juice and water mix 10 seconds Speed 4.
Take dough ball out and place on to cling wrap and place in the fridge 10 minutes.
Use a 25cm loose base flan tin and spray with oil.
Roll dough out on to a well floured surface. Turn often and re-flour to prevent sticking to the bench. Fit dough into the tin being careful not to stretch. Trim the edges and fork the base gently to stop the middle rising.
Place in the freezer for 10 minutes then bake for 10 minutes middle shelf.
Remove carefully from oven and pour filling over base then bake for 30-35 minutes or until set and golden on top.
- Turn Oven on to 170c.
Place butter in bowl melt 1 minute, 100c, Speed 2.
Add golden syrup and brown sugar cook 3 minutes, 100c,Speed 2.
Add flour and eggs mix 20 seconds Speed 4.
Scrape down sides and mix well with spatula.
Add Pecans to bowl Mix 12 Seconds, Reverse, Speed 1.
Leave in bowl and go back to Pastry making
